KM64 is running a CSA program called "What Grows" for the 2023 summer season. The intent is to produce fresh garden fruits and vegetables throughout the summer and into autumn for CSA subscribers.
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Subscribers purchase shares in the harvest which is distributed periodically as fresh local produce. Risk and reward is shared between producers and subscribers.
Think of the name in the context of the phrases "Let's see what grows" and, if bountiful, then "Oh, what grows!".
Potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, onions, peas, beans, greens, and garlic. Maybe some herbs and other surprises.
The program runs from the first week of July to mid-October for 14 weeks.
A weekly Sunday evening delivery can be arranged, or the goods can be picked up on Sundays during the day at the farm near Milo. The drop-off locations include Milo, Vulcan, High River, and Calgary.
